Megan Connolly's profile

Galley, Museum, Library

This structure consists of a space of engaging (the gallery), a space of questioning (the art library), and a space of delight (sculpture garden).

When creating the different type of walls for my site I wanted to create opportunities for light to pass through each space. The gallery has a glass roof that allows maximum sunlight to shine on the works of art. In addition, semi-transparent walls support the library and allow light. There are also sunroofs that allow additional light into the library.

Completed in Spring 2011.
