The element of paper can be cut or folded into any size or shape. It provokes creativity and emotion. It's a source of inspiration. Paper is limitless.
This project investigates the relationship between a paper element and a light source by manipulating the paper through means of folds and cuts. Through a series of upward folds, each piece of paper develops volume in a unique shape. As a result, the softness of the light as it highlights the ridges of the paper gives the viewer a sense of serenity. Overall, this project was inspired by the documentary "Between the Folds".
