GoFlow is a community of fun people who enjoy living the active life and being outdoors. The client applied to us with the task of improving the script for adding a post and making the concept of the interface.
We studied the client prototypes sent and and compiled a preliminary list of recommendations for improving the interface:
We have studied the main flow of the application and made sozme adjustments which will improve the user experience and interaction.
Colored middle button is responsible for the main action, but because of the ”Share” inscription under the button it causes confusion. The word “share” is associated with sharing post on social networks. We offered to refuse from different icons on the button and to use the unified button with a plus symbol on it.
We prepared a presentation of our solution for the client, where we detailed the mistakes found and the ways to correct them.
Next, we proceeded to the stage of visual design.
In the client version, users did not have the opportunity to change the activity for their post after the initial selection. We added the ability to change the type of activity on the sharing screen, because users make mistakes and it rather uncomfortable to fill in all the fields from the beginning just to change the type of activity.
We have added the ability to share not only just captured photos or videos, but those which were shot by user earlier via the standard camera app or uploaded to the phone.
