They are two characters I've designed for the Character Design Challenge. 
Frozentail is a dragon who lives in the South Pole with her little friend Knick. 

He is an aquatic hunter: he hides under the water waiting for his prey. The minerals growing on his back allow him to trick the other animals: they mistake the minerals to ice, so they rest on them without any clues they are in a trap. In this way Frozentail is able to hunt food for himself and for Knick.

Knick is a little orphan girl that has grown alongside with Frozentail since when she was a baby. No one knows where her family is. She try to survive every day fighting against the rigid temperature of the Pole and the danger of starving. She is still too young to worry about her misterious past.
