Creative Industries Expo

I was selected to work in a team to design a brand identity for the Nottingham Trent University Creative Industries Expo. With this being the first careers NTU fair for creative subjects, we needed to produce an innovative campaign which would be much more exciting than those normally used. What initially seemed a simple task turned out to be an exciting challenge, with the need to create a powerful design that would appeal to both a B2B and B2C market audience.

Collaboratively, we used each of our individual skills to produce a design which reflected the student's journey through university into finding the future they want to achieve. The concept of our work revolved around the metaphor of a bird flying the nest.

In addition to this, we were enlisted to create an enthusing visual identity for the event itself. I found this a great for celebrating the event in a way that the students attending would find recognisable.

I was given the task of designing this and chose to in a way that complemented both the branding of the event and the environment it was in.
