ENOUGH - A SELF-INITIATED ANTI-BULLYING CAMPAIGN

Created for an open brief, the spark of 'Enough' came to light, after being motivated by the bullying my little brother had been suffering through at the time. (Began work in May 2017 UAL Diploma).

I needed to create my own campaign branding that would appeal to a wide audience without seeming too graphic, but also not too childish as well as upon extensive research I discovered a lot of pre-existing anti-bullying material was very very childish and at the end of the day - didn't do a whole lot of good.

I knew I wanted to utilise photographic approaches to help convey this sense of realism, so finding some models, I created a series of three posters, in which I represented the three main forms and methods of bullying that I concluded on - Verbal, Cyber and Physical. All elements were manipulated onto bare photos of backs, with the tagline 'Not everything is easily forgotten about behind your back', as well as 'Don't be beaten by bullies' - lines I came up with that felt appropriate and strong.

To go alongside the posters so it didn't seem too simple a submission, I created some little discreet business-card-sized handouts that could be given out/picked up at schools for support. These were hand cut in the shape of my logo, so they stood out instead of being mistaken for a business card.
