"Looking for you, again...finding myself along the way." is a mariner's astrolabe.  This device has an expandable catalog of uses derived from the plates that can be added to the wooden base.  Once the reading plate has been affixed, the user can use the astrolabe to find their own location based on the position of a celestial object, or predict the position of that same object if they can say with certainty where they will be at a specific moment in time.
