This project was for Anthropologie, for a Resort Collection Concept. My inspiration came from the Fauvist artists, particularly Matisse. I really wanted it to be a palette refresher with optic white being the strong base, taking the customer from a rich winter into the bright optimism of a new year. Bold colors for head to toe color & clean color blocking with both a sophisticated & softly athletic feel. The prints range from abstract geometrics for separates to bold paintily artistic prints for statement pieces such as jackets, pants and dresses.  

The fabrics range from crisp cottons & voiles, eyelets, bold colored laces, drapey rayon & silk blend jerseys back to silk chiffons & crepe de Chines and clean cotton blend pants. Leather & suede are strong in bold colors for jackets, couture tees & shifts. 

Knitwear pieces are cashmere & angora blends in loose & relaxed shapes.

Bold paintily inspired prints on white bases are key for this Collection, mixing stripes back with florals feel fresh as well as sitting the white based prints back with core black pieces.
