Baltic 39 is a new cultural hub for contemporary art located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, bringing the academic branches of BALTIC, students from Northumbria University and artist studios together in one building.
Developing the identity, way-finding system and building exterior of this excellent addition to the city centre, we decided this was an opportunity to strip the BALTIC brand down to it's core elements: the typeface and a serious black and white colour palette throughout.
