Roi quería sacar un vino excepcional de los viñedos que tiene su padre Juan en la Ribeira Sacra. En esta zona los romanos cuidadosamente perfilaron las pendientes orientadas al sur de estas vertiginosas gargantas del río Sil en bancales para cultivar viñedos. No buscaban hacer un vino en masa si no hacer el mejor.
Para realizar este vino tan especial se basaron en una vivencia de Juan antes de retirarse. Un día Juan mientras hacía la vendimia observó ocho milanos negros que surcaban el cielo, le llamó la atención que fuesen tantos, después de un rato viéndolos pensó en que le encantaría poder ver el cañon y todas sus tierras desde sus ojos, ese ha sido siempre su gran sueño.
Roi wanted to get an exceptional wine from the vineyards that his father Juan has in the Ribeira Sacra. In this area the Romans carefully outlined the south-facing slopes of these dizzying gorges of the River Sil on terraces to cultivate vineyards. They did not seek to make a wine en masse if they did not do the best. To make this special wine they were based on an experience of Juan before retiring. One day while Juan was doing the harvest, he observed eight black kites that crossed the sky, he was surprised that they were so many, after a while watching them he thought that he would love to see the canyon and all his lands from his eyes, that has always been his big dream.
