The assignment for the first project in Stefan Sagmeister's class in the MFA Design program at SVA was find a way to use design to touch the heart of someone we knew. I was aware that my downstairs neighbor had been hosting a weekly dominoes game in his kitchen for many years, so I chose to make a special set of dominoes for him, branded as if he had his own social club.
