South Beach, San Francisco welcomed Hotel VIA in the fall of 2016, an independent hotel dedicated to technology, the environment, and the highest level of personalized hospitality and service. Located across the street from the iconic AT&T Park, Hotel VIA is at the epicenter of the best of San Francisco.
Every so often a logomark is not designed, but discovered. This was one of those cases in logo creation where the letterforms lent themselves to the classic "addition by reduction." Creating a repetition of forms cap-ended by diagonal parallels, the solution for the mark for Hotel VIA was, to put it frankly, obvious.
