2nd grade project - customized fashion platform
in cooperation with fellow students Alexander Alexanov, Tiare Keller, Sebastian Weber
This project is a story of failures. It started with an idea of a virtual closet. After developing a concept for three personas and not fully satisfying their needs, we chose to elaborate only one persona, that would be perfect for the concept. We went into a design thinking workshop with it and the design challenge: "How might we provide our user a personal, inspiring wardrobe experience?" Guerilla interviews showed us, that our hypoteses for that persona were wrong, but we found other insights. That led to an idea of a goody bag service for home impulse shopping. Our team was not happy with that concept from an ethical point of view. So we started the process again and made another persona out of three real persons and all the accumulated insights. At the end, a personalized shopping platform was created as a concept. This one wasn't viable from a business point of view.
Methods: market research, interview with a mini photo journal, survey, personas, design studio, card sorting, wireframes, moodboard, prototype test, two-days design thinking workshop in cooperation with HPI, point of view, storyboard, customer journey, how might we
