Health Matters

Health Matters is a resource for local authorities and health professionals. The September 2017 edition focused on preventing drug misuse deaths. The number of annual drug misuse deaths in England have generally been on the rise in the last 20 years. Following significant increases in the last 3 years, they have now reached the highest figure on record.

As this is a sensitive topic, we had to show the facts and figures in a serious but engaging way. We created brightly coloured infographics which allowed us to show the scale of the problem and made sure that even gloomy statistics were easy to read.

The infographics can be downloaded in various formats with the aim that they will be shared on different platforms.

The client said: "The graphics have been extremely well received and used extensively by stakeholders. They were also on show at our annual conference last year. It’s worth highlighting how tricky a topic area this is to work on and be creative in. The graphics Design102 produced effectivity communicated some difficult messages without stigmatising those who suffer from drug misuse issues."
