Shakespeare Poster
Inspired by the art and textiles from Shakespeare's time I had created a poster for the play 'Hamlet'. Using the visual language of samplers I had sewn a patterned drop caps for the poster. Samplers are a form of needlework often practiced as a show of skill in cross stitch. Patterns are used within the drop caps to represent Shakespeare's play.
