The purpose of this project was to create a new take on the classic smiley face design. I chose to do this with a cartoon rendition of Iron Man. To create this I used Adobe Illustrator to create a custom drawing of Iron Man and then to apply various effects to some of the layers to help add to the design overall. The first step in creating this graphic of Iron Man was to look up various pictures of him from across the internet to get a better idea of what I would be drawing. Once this was done I used the pen tool in Illustrator to create my desired image. I started by drawing the general outline of his figure and then after this was done I went back in and added the details which are seen in his suite with the pen tool. I also added a background which matches with the center part of Iron Man.
