I want to point out the fact that the"Cultural Revolution" did not have any good influence in China's Culture. However, Mai 68, which took the spirit from China, was more like a real cultural revolution.

The Cultural Revolution, known as the ten-year disaster, happened in China from 1966 until 1976. During this period of a political purge, schools in China were suspended. Library collections were burned. Historical relics and artifacts were destroyed. Cultural and religious sites were ransacked. Amount of teachers and scholars were humiliated and persecuted to commit suicide. 20,000 to 2,000,000 abnormal death has been blamed on Cultural Revolution.
In 1968, a convergence of strikes and protests by students and workers, based on social demands and political ideas took place in Paris.“Revolution is no crime —— Rebellion is justified.” this slogan of "Red Guards" of Cultural Revolution became the ideology of students of "Mai 68".
In the same time, China highly praised French students. More than 60 articles and 40 photographs were reported by The China People's Daily in May.
After May 68 in France, new books and new ways of thinking developed, religion was strongly questioned and incredible new pieces of art were imagined, new relationships between teachers and students appeared and workers obtained more rights. On the other hand, the Cultural Revolution has damaged China's economic and cultural development for decades
