Large scale chalk paintings made for Whole Foods Market, using seasonal promotions and unique, local products as inspiration. Starting out in photoshop with a rough layout of the board, I then transfer them with non-photo blue transfer paper to make a guide. From there I then use various Zig Chalk markers to fill and color the images, adding details as I go using the photoshop files as reference. This process can be seen in the first set of the Buche De Noel cake.  

Equally as important as rendering the image was creating copy that stood out and could stand with a visually heavy object. Because of this, I got to experiment with typography and try more interesting ideas and styles.
