The Mint Nightclub - Styleframes
This is a spec project that I had conceived (and almost pitched) while being inspired by Ash Thorp’s Learn Squared course. The Mint is a popular, upscale nightclub in Scottsdale, AZ. Given the atmosphere of the outside and inside of the club, I wanted to present some elegant looks to their logo and varying green shades and backgrounds. I imagined these separate themes would be animated differently and loopable, almost like a VJ clip so that inside the club these would be projected on the walls or stage during the night.
The logo was hand traced (and cleaned up) into vector art so I could transfer it into 3D.
