VIAN is a Norwegian pop music band based in Kristiansand. Having worked with their previous releases it was exciting to further develop their first album release. As their music is highly atmospheric and ambiguous we worked with the illustrator, Sarah Jung, to bring the dichotomy to light. There was much dialogue as to how the designs would be presented – being a digipak for the CD, a vinyl sleeve, and promotional content. After many iterations we came to the our final idea of a spot light in the forest casting a direction. The album has released on October 13th, 2017.
