This school project was focused on raising awareness on the possible extinction of donkeys and saving them. The concept was based on riots, where people should wake up and see that donkeys are disappearing. Donkey lovers would strive to protect them and spread the message across via placards and riots.
The expressive brush typeface and straightforward messages were used because of how riot placards go straight to the point and contain expressive, bold strokes to convey their message to the public. The works consists of 3 posters, 3 tote bags, 3 shirts, 3 hangtags and an E-publication.
There are repeated graphics, especially the E-Jiao. That is because E-jiao is an ingredient of Chinese medicine made from donkey hide. Donkeys are being killed faster than it can be produced mostly for the production of E-jiao.
There are 3 call to actions in this campaign, which is Stop, Speak and Save. It tells the audience the stop purchasing donkey related items, especially E-jiao. Next is to speak for the donkeys, let others know what is happening to them and if no action is taken, they will be gone soon. The last is to save the donkeys and do whatever you can within your power to make a difference.
