Mr Beams Connected Branding

In 2017, Mr Beams expanded their product portfolio by initiating a new line of smart home products. This product line (Connected) needed to appeal to a new demographic and fit in the smart home retail space. For this project, I took the lead in developing the branding for Mr Beams Connected. From logos to retail presence, I brought this product line to life.
As the photoshoot director, I wanted to embody the stylization of smart home products, with the integration of Mr Beams branding. The goal of this shoot was to get high quality glamour photos of each product in the Connected line. Each image shows the product in it's environment while offering a relatable lifestyle application. The color pallets were consistent, clean and simple, all important elements to the brand.
The new line of products launched on a Beta testing website for product testers. Each tester would purchase a kit of the lights and would submit feedback. The beta site was an opportunity to also see how the product testers interacted with the new branding and what demographic was attracted to the new design aesthetic. These learnings would influence our public product launch.
