The Hey Chat design was inspired by a Brief Box brief (https://bit.ly/2v6ON9A). The task was to create a landing page and dashboard layout for the app.

I wanted to keep the design for Hey Chat vibrant and minimalist to match the provided logo. As such, I kept the features available on the main screen to a minimum. You can access your profile and settings pages through the menu in the upper right hand corner. Users can choose a group by horizontally scrolling through the suggestions and selecting a group, or by searching for a specific topic. Your conversations are easily accessible, and you can find old messages by vertically scrolling. To start a new conversation, you can click on the "add" icon in the bottom corner.

I also decided to include a design for what a conversation would look like. Here, a group chat can be seen, demonstrating how multiple users can interact with one another about shared interests.
