During my time in Hoedspruit South-Africa in 2016, I went to the dumping ground where I met the ‘Ladies of Trash’. Women who are working daily in the dirty trash, in the heat of the day, to make a little fee by collecting carton, glass and plastic. At the dump the smell is terrible and the place is so dirty but the atmosphere is social and they laugh a lot. 

The woman who are working, sometimes even bare on feet, kept there dignity, pride and womanhood. Proud to give them the honor and respect they deserve with this photoserie.
