A private Spa to redefine a new concept of luxury
Spa Santa Maria was the first step of an interesting interior design project developed to transform an ancient villa, its acessory buildings and its park into an exclusive countryside resort for a new family. The developement of this concept started by the study of a new idea of contemporary luxury developed by french philosopher Thierry Paquot. In his vision the main concern is not the conquest of precious items or exclusive materials, but a much wider dimension which is made of three factors: TIME, SPACE and SILENCE.
The small building of the barchessa was conceived as a space entirely devoted to the wellbeing of the family, with a small indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a hammam and a gym area.
