Seismic Design of a RC Industrial Building - Part 2

This is the second part of the project about the design of an industrial building made of reinforced concrete. Modal and Spectral analysis were developed using Robot Structural Analysis.
In this stage beams and columns were calculated considering ND3 according to Venezuelan regulations. Structural members are part of a seismic resistant moment frame classified as "Special" according to the ACI 318.

Members were calculated and designed with Robot Structural Analysis. Hand calculations were made to verify results of the software. Beam weak - strong column principle was verify, as well as joint shear failure.

Finally we made all the documentation of the proyect, sheets, schedules, drawings and calculation notes.
