This is the first of a two series project depicting famous writers in coffee shops. George RR Martin sits in a Starbucks famously writing his Game of Thrones series on an old school computer using WordStar. The illustration is on one level supposed to be absurd with these extraordinary characters sitting in an ordinary setting and to both elevate the person who works in a coffee shop to a position of amazing artists, and to break it down to an annoyance to workers and customers.
