Designer:  Blu Dot Studio
Materials:  Powder-coated steel

In search of a design for a line of accessories utilizing only a single material, we were inspired by the perforations on the creases of a pizza box. This led to explorations of perforating steel so that it could be shipped flat and folded into three dimensional shape by the end user. The manufacturing is two incredibly simple, and widely available, processes. Step 1 – stamp steel. Step 2 – powder coat steel.
