For this independent project I made a collage based on the “Butterfly Effect”. I used mainly how I view the concept through my own perspective to form my own aesthetic for this project. I used various materials such as printed out pictures, stickers, watercolor, glitter, and real butterfly wings. Throughout this project I learned new techniques to use in future projects. For example, using tape to distress a poster board and to laminate butterfly wings to protect them while being used in art. Overall I am very pleased with the result of this project and I look forward to using similar combinations of materials in the future, along with more collages to come.
