Ryo Tadashi (meaning bright and loyal) is Kenji Masato's best friend, trained in water-style kenjutsu.
Unlike Kenji's analytical and methodical approach to swordsmanship, Ryo is a shark in a sea full of bleeding fish. His unorthodox tactics and bat-shit demeanour often throws opponents off-guard, but serves him well in any combat scenario.
Both of them are well-known for their own brand of ferocity in battle, but when fighting as a duo, they are legendary.
Trivia: Patterns on their outfits are nods to their respective sword element styles. Chidori and fan pattern for Kenji and tidal waves for Ryo.
