These works are painted by David Shumate. All art supplies are handmade, and colors are made from supplies that Dave foraged, such as coffee and candies.
What do I have to do with this?! Well, I am the lucky person that gets to see this wonderful artwork up close and personal. I scan Daves artwork, put it in Photoshop, and prepare it for the digital world. Photoshop work may include removing seams, reconstructing seams, frame work, color adjustments, wrinkle smoothing, etc. I upload the art to an e-commerce site, where you can purchase the prints, and the Save Stopper Dave Art Shop. I write a blog article about the work I retouch and post it to the Save Stopper Dave Facebook page.
