ORIGINS OF THE WORD PATENT
My entry to the ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers) student awards. Where I explored
the origins of the word Patent, designing a typographic publication, around a family Patent. The publication
is coptic bound highlighting the words Latin origins, meaning to lay open. A patent provides inventors with
safety, with the system reflected throughout the publications size, structure, and binding.
