H&M GREENBELT for STUDIO VITO SELMA

H&M, the renowned fashion house and retailer, is taking another step forward with the launch of the H&M Conscious Exclusive 2018 Collection, which uses recycled materials to create sustainable pieces with the same innovative style the brand is known for.

In anticipation of the launch of the line, H&M hosts a Roundtable Discussion on Environmental Consciousness and Sustainability at Museum Café, Makati, as well as the reveal of a new art installation by furniture and industrial designer Vito Selma inspired by the collection. Selma created wave like sculptures where the nets look like wave crests. The line pays homage to the Arts and Crafts movement in Sweden and features sustainable materials like recycled silver and ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated fibre from nylon waste. The collection showcases a variety of inventive pieces, from accessories crafted from discarded candlesticks to dresses made of fish nets, and launches in select H&M stores around the world, as well as online at hm.com, on April 19.

You can also visit the installation until May 1, 2018 at the Greenbelt 4, Koi Pond. Near Ayala Museum and Cafe.
