Rolling Stone magazine has been published since 1967 by Jann Wenner. 1967 was the year when The Summer of Love had began. It was a social movement that occurred during the summer of 1967 where young people went out on the streets wearing hippie fashion and claimed peace and love. Rolling Stone magazine was strongly influenced by The Summer of Love and it represented young people’s spirit. 

However, when I first saw the recent version of the magazines, it was like an old magazine that elder people read in retrospect to their glorious rock and roll era. Those young people who used to rebel against the government grew old and so the magazine got old with them. So my goal for this project was to let the younger people read it again and revive that badass spirit!
