This was my most recent project at university. We had a series of questions to choose from and the task was to address those questions via illustration and an essay. I chose "to what extent does the borrowing of other visual languages result in the loss of meaning" and this was my answer. I did a series of 6 drawings that compared cultural identities from around the world with their western bastardisation. I displayed this in a little pop-up style zine with some trivia to provide context and meaning to the illustrations.
