Honoured to have been asked to collaborate with Warner Bros. Entertainment and the Poster Posse on an official poster for the 2018 action packed movie 'Rampage', starring Dwayne Johnson. Based upon the 1986 video game of the same name, the story follows Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who is the head of an anti-poaching unit finds out his beloved albino silverback gorilla friend George has been infected with a mysterious experiment that turns him into a giant aggressive beast. To make matters worse, a red wolf named Ralph and an American crocodile named Lizzie have been infected too. With the help of a discredited genetic engineer named Dr. Kate Caldwell (Harris), he must save George, stop Ralph and Lizzie from destroying most of America, and find out who mutated the animals.

Developmental Sketches and early concepts:
I like to try and keep things fast and loose with early concepts, its mostly about getting the idea/image onto the canvas rather than it looking good. As you can see here the concepts were attempting to be varied so the client can get a broad range of ideas (even if I know some will be rejected, I'd prefer the client to see what could be done rather than discounting it all together). Concept 1 was a take on the classic King Kong poster of the 30s, the second and third concepts were a more 'emotional' take on the movie where as concepts 4 and final concept 5 were more action packed.
