For everyone who loves to go to Sweden (like me), Katrien Philips started the blog Touch Of Sweden. Some years ago she moved from Belgium to Sweden to be with her Swedish love. So she's discovering all kinds of things about her new home country which she shares on her blog. For instance the typical Swedish recipes. Having gained quite a following amongst the Dutch and Belgian people, she decided to treat them with a recipe book. And while you're flipping through it you'll learn more about the Swedish culture, habits and language as well!
Next to the art direction and design I also created the illustrations. All 65 of 'em (excluding the ones that didn't make it). Katrien wanted to diverge from the standard cook book by using illustrations instead of photos. Took me about 130+ sheets of paper to make these hand drawn illustration. So yeah... quite a job, next to the design.
