Intracranial Aneurysms

Book: Intracranial Aneurysms
Managing a large book project without experienced academic publication support can be a daunting task for a busy neurosurgeon. Our medical editor, Mary Kemper, served as project manager assisting Dr. Andrew Ringer (editor) from concept development through production, including editing his chapters, to keep this multi-chapter book project on task.

As the project neared completion, Dr. Ringer came to us for concepts of a book cover. Wanting to reflect not only the contents of the book but also the efforts of the ENRG (Endovascular Neurosurgery Research Group), Medical Illustrator Martha Headworth, incorporated the ENRG identity and illustrated an arterial tree depicting the primary treatments for brain aneurysms: coiling, stent-assisted coiling, clipping, and flow diversion.

As with most surgical textbooks, the publisher wanted videos of surgical techniques for the online version of the publication. We designed a title consistent with the book cover and then assisted in video editing, recording narration and delivered final mp4 files.
