As far as project requests go, this was a first for me: Western State Bank asked me to find a look for their annual meetings that would appeal to both the Baby-Boomer and Millennial generations and have a "candy" theme.
Design inspiration heavily influenced by candy wrappers and product packaging from the 1950s, along with the super-simple color palette and simulated overprint/halftone effects really drove home the retro feel of this project. Western State Bank was absolutely thrilled with the outcome, and it ended up being one of the funnest projects I've recently worked on.
