This started as a Christmas present for my father. A while back he gave me some great advice, "Make something new every day." It never had to be anything big, even a little progress on a large project. It could even be going to the art store to pick up some supplies. Just make sure you're doing something towards your art every day, in some shape or form. Recently, my parents moved to a new house, and my dad lost his art studio. All is not lost, he may set up something in the garage eventually. This is where this present comes in. I want this to be the first thing he hangs in his new space. Even before he starts to set up. I want this to be a visual reminder to him to do something towards his art every day.
