The Departed Girl // A Visual Journey

By using collage images, small icons and typefaces to create a fundamental visual unity and the creation of a visual language.
I designed three posters based on a story about a journey of the departed girl, who runs into the wood and gets lost in the new world. Generated from this story, I summarized three keywords—Escape, Passage, and Adventure to created three posters for the story.

STORY—The Departed Girl
A long time ago, there was a girl who ran into the woods. She ran fast, the cloak floating up made her look like a flying butterfly. The woods were very dense, and towering trunks covered the sky. Surrounding her was dark mixing with cold air. White steam poured from the mouth of the girl. Her movement formed a weird scene in the silent wood.
The running girl found bright lights in the distance. She quickened her pace. She noticed there was a huge dead tree, without any other plants around it. The sunlight irradiated from the top. There was a vast black hole at the center of the trunk. The girl looked at the black hole, tried to put her hand into it. Her hand did not touch anything. So she probed her head into it. Then she fell into it.
She fell on the grass. She looked up and found the garden, surrounded by exotic flowers and vegetation. When she stood up to the actual floor, she found out there was another world completely different from the original.
