Children's Dallas - The Child Life Zone
Sometimes laughter is the best medicine - so is hanging out with your peers, expressing yourself creatively through art, music and writing, and there’s a lot to be said for recreation therapy. The Child Life Zone makes all of this possible and more—all in a treatment-free zone for Cook Children's patients. The only thing that happens here is fun, expression, creativity and belonging. It’s a place where a little bit of normalcy takes hold, and hopes and dreams unfold.
The idea of this project is to welcome these teenagers that are usually from all over the country to Dallas. We got inspiration from vintage postcards and directed the graphic to be more refined and whimsical. The vectors inside of the letters are iconic Dallas scenes like the Pegasus Hotel, the Dallas Zoo, Downtown, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, Cowboy football games, and Reunion Tower.
