The Vikings discover America
For a book about the historical Viking voyages to Vinland, France and in Russia, I took photos of wooden sculptors. At a competition in Blockhausen in Germany, international woodcarvers made statues of Vikings. Unfortunately, there are no real Vikings left to take pictures.
Für mein Buch über die historischen Reisen der Wikinger nach Vinland, Frankreich und Russland habe ich Fotos von Holzbildhauern gemacht. Bei einem Wettbewerb in Blockhausen in Deutschland stellten internationale Holzschnitzer Statuen von Wikingern her. Leider gibt es keine echten Wikinger mehr, um Fotos zu machen.
