Formula One Singapore Grand Prix is an annual motor night race set in the heart of downtown Singapore since 2008. The adrenaline-pumping race, non-stop entertainment and off-track activities light up the Singapore skyline every year, turning it into one of Asia's largest and most highly-anticipated sporting extravaganzas.
Whizzing into its 10th year, a commemorative publication was produced to celebrate the highlights of each night race in Singapore, showcasing its grandeur and behind-the-scenes.
Inspired by the trail-blazing circuits, we developed graphics textures that represent motion to be used throughout the publication.
Being the first ever night race held in Singapore, this publication is set mainly in black, complemented with big and bold typography to recreate the event's electrifying atmosphere.
Aside from showcasing the event highlights, the book also features volunteers involved in the preparation and management of the event. Interesting facts and big numbers are also used as divider sections to highlight the amount of planning and logistics work that birthed and drives this iconic event series.
