These images are National Parks in the United States of America, what these specific National Parks have in common is they bring in the least amount of visits per year. (11,012-175,825) Compared to Grand Canyon National Park which brings in over four million each year.

My project will be Photographing our National Parks and publishing a book about them to bring attendance, and awareness up! Our National Parks are at a higher risk than ever of being taken away from us so they need to be explored and photographed while they're still here for us.

   1: Go to every National Park in the USA, there are 58

   2: Document the parks, photographs and writing

   3: Create a Photo Book at the end to promote visiting the National Parks, of which the proceeds will go towards our National Parks to keep them around

   4: Grow as a photographer and an individual!

   1: Travel the USA to document our National Parks

   2: Compile images and excerpts into a book form

   3: Find a publisher

   4: Release the book!

Now this rough plan is exactly that, rough they can all be finished in unison they don't need to be completed one at a time. 

The content that will be created along this journey will be photographs and excerpts from each park I visit, along with them being put into a book they will also be showcased on my instagram.

My inspiration is Ansel Adams, a true explorer and photographer in my eyes. From his countless books, work with black and white film, and his founding of Aperture Magazine he is a true inspiration of this project. Along with the visitation of our National Parks going down each year, which makes me want to do this project even more to get people out there and see our nations greatest landscapes.

These images are just a select few that I have taken at National Parks across the county. These were before i was committed to doing this project so they have no context, but even then i knew something deep inside of me wanted something to do with National Parks
