The baby awoke, looked around, at his parents, at the three wise men, and then he glanced at me. Suddenly, I am filled with warmth and acknowledgment.
This baby’s glance told me that he came for me. He came for others. He told me, “I see you.” God incarnate on a straw bed, what did I do to deserve You?

A Park in Makati
One time, there was a girl who decided to draw at a local park one morning. She brought her sketchbook and a few pencils. She sat down on a bench that had enough shade to protect her from the sun. While she was drawing, she spotted a tiny little caterpillar crawling next to her.
She left and decided to draw in a coffee shop instead for a while. She was afraid of caterpillars.
As she sat in the coffee shop, she wondered… How could she be afraid of this tiny creature that just wanted to become a butterfly, just as she wanted to become who she wanted to be?

Cats
We have adopted street cats! Or I think they just allowed themselves to live in our home, and we had to oblige. Haha! The mother cats have kittens now. :-)

Spark
A young man and woman, best friends since they were kids, were together with their families to celebrate the new year. When the clock struck twelve midnight, they all ran outside and gazed at the heavens. Fireworks lit up the sky, thundering across the city and nearby provinces.

"Oh wow... Beautiful," said the woman.

"Yes, definitely!" said the man.

Then she saw a quick spark far off in the east. Like a twinkling star but vanished abruptly.

"Ahh! Did you see that?" she asked, grabbing her friend's arm, "I saw a spark!"

"In the sky or between the two of us?"

.
The young woman suddenly let go of her friend's arm and stormed off towards the table.

"I'm kidding! Happy New Year!"
