When I made the decision to become a freelance designer in 2006 I chose the name J.Wood Creative. This would allow progression from freelance to small studio when the time came. As the creative industry advanced, twisted and changed over the years, I saw many small studios struggle or close.
I was working on projects individually or with a small team I had specifically appointed. This approach works. I made the decision to rebrand as Mr Jonny Wood to focus on the individual, the freelancer. When you hire Mr Jonny Wood, you're hiring an experienced designer, you're hiring a person. My brand and name now reflect this.

As my portfolio grew I wanted the work to take center stage. I began designing a simplified logo, reducing form and colour whilst maintaining the integrity of the original brand mark.
