Content Marketing for Networking Startup

Page Concept and Design
The client is a networking startup in San Francisco. They brought me in to assist with digital marketing just as their company's focus expanded from B2B to a wider consumer audience.
I did SEO research to uncover new marketing opportunities. I focused on creating content around the most commonly-searched for connectivity issues. The client's product fixes many of these issues for businesses, so it was a natural choice for building their traffic and showing off their expertise.
One of my goals was to increase their relevance in organic search as well as Adwords.
One topic came up in my SEO research, "What is buffer bloat?" Working with content drafted from industry experts, our top copywriter, and my own research, I put together the "What Is Bufferbloat" page using WordPress and Cornerstone. The page was designed to work with their old color scheme as well as the new colors they are transitioning into.

I created the shopping cart at the bottom of the page using Shopify.

The "What is bufferbloat" and "what is an access router" images are interactive; when you hover over them they flip revealing the definition on the other side.

Social Media Ad Copy
To promote the new page, I wrote the copy for and put together the following display ads to promote the page on Google, Facebook and LinkedIn. I also wrote copy for text-only ads on Google, Bing and Yahoo.
The unified design with pop art styled imagery was so popular the redesign team incorporated the style into the site's new redesign.
