Murder and Mayhem is the theme for the new Lyrics and Type exhibition which showcases typographic poster that utilise song lyrics about murder. The songs used in the posters all explore couple killing their significant others. They were chosen for their dark themes, and poetic imagery. The designs themselves take inspiration from Film Noir films, a movement famous for it’s femme fatales and dark endings.
