The Cultural Center aims to guarantee the access of the population - especially researchers, students and residents of Bixiga - to cultural assets, fostering the growth of citizen awareness and cultural repertoire, and stimulating community participation in actions related to research and conservation of cultural heritage.
Promoting articulation with local institutions and institutions linked to culture, such as TBC and Casa de Dona Yayá, the cultural center, as well as hosting the existing program of the USP Cultural Preservation Center, will also include spaces for events, exhibitions, rooms for workshops and research and a public library.
